  • What is Hair Microsurgery?
It is the only scientifically proven technique for hair recovery. We transplant the hair from the back and sides of the head to unpopulated areas. These are the only hairs genetically programmed to be permanent and resist the effects of male hormones that cause hair loss.
  • What is the hair transplant?
Hair transplantation is a systematic and artistic redistribution that consists of taking dominant follicles from the donor region at the back of the head to transplant them to areas where there are very thin or no hairs.
  • Cost
Costs depend on the number of follicular units transplanted to achieve the desired appearance. The different factors that determine the cost of hair transplantation include the degree of alopecia, the number of grafts that are required or desired by the patient, the potential donor hair and the possible repair of previous hair transplants.
  • How long will my transplants last?
They will last for the rest of your life. You can cut and style them the way you want.
  • Will scars remain after undergoing micro capillary surgery?
When the skin is cut, it heals through a process called "fibrosis" (commonly known as cicratrization). Thanks to the experience and skill of our surgeons, the scarring areas are so small that they are practically undetectable.
  • Will people notice that I have a hair transplant?
No. The micrografts are of one or two hairs, in this way we achieve naturalness, replacing the appearance of "doll hair" or "toothbrush" that has always been associated with hair transplantation using old and obsolete techniques. There are no visible signs or scars after a Capillary Microsurgery intervention.
  • Is there any chance of rejection of my transplants?
You are your own donor. Therefore, there is no possibility of rejection. Your transplants will be permanent and definitive.
  • If I have "doll hair" type implants, can I correct it?
Yes. We correct those procedures that make you unhappy to achieve the results you want.
  • How do I know that I will obtain good results if I undergo this intervention?
The artistic skills of the specialist doctor are what will allow to achieve a natural appearance. The correct direction of the micrografts and a defined hairline according to your physiognomy, age and areas of future hair loss will guarantee a NATURAL and EXCEPTIONAL final result.
  • Why don't the hair transplants I've seen look natural?
Today, if you find someone with a recent hair transplant that doesn't look natural, it's simply because they had a bad transplant.
  • Does this procedure require hospitalization or disability?
The procedure is ambulatory. You should only have a few hours to practice your intervention. The next day you can return to your work and daily activities. We are located at Río Orinoco 424 Colonia, Del Valle, San Pedro near various hotels such as Hotel Safi Royal Luxury, WestIn Punto Valle, NH Collection, AUTÉNTICO, Antaris, Sleep Inn and MS Milenium Curio Collection by Hilton. Ask about the accommodation agreement for the day of your surgery, we can gladly advise you so that your stay is pleasant.
  • Is it necessary to shave the hair to perform the transplant?
No way. At hair.c we know that total discretion and confidentiality is important for our patients and how important it is for you to return to work as soon as possible, which is why we do not shave your hair or leave spaces without hair in the donor area, coming out of surgery with a donor area completely covered with hair.
  • How much does a procedure cost?
Hair transplantation lasts a lifetime and does not require special care for its maintenance. The cost depends on factors evaluated in consultation such as color, texture, diameter and the density of the donor area.
  • How long should you wait between each session?
Because our transplants are of large volumes of micrografts in most of our cases, this for maximum effectiveness and excellent results; It is recommended that the other session be within 9 months to a year later.
  • Are women candidates for transplant?
These cases are carefully evaluated and first some hair loss problems due to factors other than androgenic alopecia are ruled out and it will be in consultation where it will be defined whether or not she is a candidate for transplantation. More and more women go to the consultation to treat baldness problems, improve their facial frame or to cover some scars produced by cosmetic surgeries.
  • Are there risks or complications with this hair transplant surgery?
Although it is one of the surgeries where there are fewer complications, we rely on some simple routine laboratory tests to make the surgery even safer. Cases of infection after surgery are very rare due to the large amount of blood that helps us defend against infections.
  • When will I see a change in my appearance?
Hair will grow gradually, without being obvious, between the first and fourth month, by the fifth month a good change will be appreciated, but the final and natural result will be seen approximately 9 months to 1 year after surgery.
  • Will I feel any pain?
No. There is minimal discomfort where local anesthesia is applied. After this, you will be completely pain-free during the entire surgery and in the postoperative period you will feel tolerable discomfort in the donated area, which is well attenuated with the indicated analgesics.
